The Art of the Brick at the Science & Tech Museum

Wow, this brick exhibit is an incredible experience for everyone!  Yes, it does cost extra -- even for members -- but it was definitely worth it.  Lots of inspiring quotes from the BrickMaster himself, Nathan Sawaya, were found throughout the exhibit amid the brilliant and colourful sculptures.

The exhibit was presented in different...pieces(!) such as Past Masters (LEGO masterpieces re-imagined), In Pieces (a collaboration between Sawaya and photographer Dean West, a Park person, a massive T Rex sculpture and the Kid Zone.

There were several highlights:  The Kiss, The Scream, The Great Wave of Kanagawa, a LEGO storybook, X-Ray, the In Pieces photos and a chance to take a selfie with a bright yellow Park Person.  It really is amazing what thousands of those little bricks can become and it was wonderful to hear all the comments by visitors all around.
